Dr. Peter Amua-Quarshie, MD, MPH, MS 

Peter Amua-Quarshie MD, MPH, MS is an Assistant Professor specializing in Gross Anatomy and Neuroscience. His passion is demonstrating how the mind can change brain anatomy and physiology. Originally from Ghana, he spent many years in the UK before settling in the US. He lives in Texas with his wife Mercy.

Dr. Peter Breggin, MD

Peter R. Breggin is called “The Conscience of Psychiatry” for his many decades of successful efforts to reform the mental health field. Dr. Breggin has authored more than 50 scientific articles and more than twenty books including Toxic Psychiatry, The Ritalin Fact Book, and The Antidepressant Fact Book. He is also the author of Medication Madness: The Role of Psychiatric Drugs in Cases of Violence, Suicide and Crime; and Psychiatric Drug Withdrawal: a Guide for Prescribers, Therapists, Patients and Their Families. Dr. Breggin graduated from Harvard College and after medical school received his psychiatric training at Harvard and at the State University of New York Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. He has been a fulltime consultant at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) while an officer in the U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS). He has taught at many universities, including the Counseling Department at Johns Hopkins. He has been invited to address congressional committees on topics including education and veterans affairs, as well as to speak before federal agencies. He has been an expert featured on innumerable TV shows, from many times on Oprah and Larry King Live to appearances on 20/20, 60 Minutes, Nightline, and several times on the Fox News Channel, including Hannity.


Dr. Avery Jackson, M.D, Neurosurgeon 

Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director of Michigan Neurosurgical Institute, P.C. a board-certified neurosurgeon, Dr. Jackson has extensive training and experience in complex spinal cases, brain and spinal tumors, head and spine trauma, as well as minimally invasive procedures such as vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty to relieve pain. Dr. Jackson also participates in clinical trials of the latest neurosurgical treatments and techniques, frequently writes and speaks to medical audiences on neurosurgical topics, and holds several patents for medical inventions.


Dr. David Levy, M.D, Neurosurgeon

Dr. David Levy is a neurosurgeon. He attended medical school at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and obtained his neurosurgical training at the Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. He did a fellowship in endovascular neurosurgery at the University of Vienna, Austria.

Dr. Levy has published numerous scientific articles in the neurosurgical literature and wrote the book Gray Matter. Dr. Levy has been the recipient of the Best Doctor Award in 2007 – 2014 and America’s Top Surgeons Award 2015-2016. His pastimes include caring for the poor and less fortunate around the world. He has performed neurosurgery in Kenya and The Congo.


Dr. Jason Littleton, MD, CEO, Littleton Concierge Medicine

Jason Littleton, MD is a board-­certified family physician offering convenient concierge healthcare. Additionally, he is the Department Chairman of Family Medicine for Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Littleton has been seen on The Dr. Oz Show, The Dr. Nandi Show, The ChazzLive Network, The Dr. Mitch Show, featured in Redbook Magazine, Health and Beauty Magazine, Ebony Magazine, InTouch Magazine, The Orlando Sentinel, Orlando Style Magazine, being awarded the title of Orlando's Top Doctors. Dr. Littleton earned his MD from Michigan State University--College of Human Medicine and a BS in Biology from the University of Michigan. In 2010, he received National Doctor’s Day Recognition from the Practitioner Excellence Committee for “compassionate and excellent care” of patients at St. Mary’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI. He also received the Resident Teacher Award as a family medicine resident.


Dr. Mark Mayfield, PhD, Licensed Professional Counselor

Dr. Mayfield has extensive experience within the realm of substance abuse (primarily with the adolescent population). He has worked with gang members in the inner-city of Denver, developed adolescent and family therapy programs working with at-risk youth, provided in-home family therapy and multi-systemic family therapy, and has developed equine facilitated psychotherapy groups for child and adolescent survivors of mental and/or emotional struggles. Dr. Mayfield's doctoral research focused the effects of equine facilitated psychotherapy on veteran survivors with partial or full PTSD. He has been published in a human growth and development textbook and has recently been published in Focus and Brio magazines.


Dr. Darlene Mayo, M.D, Neurosurgeon

Dr. Darlene A. Mayo is a board certified neurosurgeon and a neuroscientist. She received her undergraduate degree from Duke University and completed her medical training and residency at the Medical College of Georgia. She is fellowship trained in neurosurgery at Emory, and completed two biomedical engineering fellowships at Clinatec, in France, with Dr. Alim-Louis Benabid, and at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She performed surgery for 10 years, most recently at the Cleveland Clinic, and has been studying chemicals and electrical activity in the brain for over 18 years, having conducted a number of scientific research studies.


Dr. Lillian Robertson, M.D

Dr. Robertson is a practicing OB/GYN. During her residency, she served as Chief Resident at Baylor. After residency, she established her private practice, Women’s Healthcare, Inc., Lake Jackson, TX, where she practiced for over 20 years. As a staff physician at Brazosport Regional Hospital, Dr. Robertson held several titles, including Chair of the Maternal Neonatal Department and Chief of Medical Staff.


Dr. Irinel Stanciu, M.D, FACE, ECNU, CCD

Board Certified Endocrinologist (ABIM and ABPS) practicing General Endocrinology with special interest in thyroid, parathyroid, and metabolic bone disorders.


Dr. Robert (Rusty) Turner,. M.D, MSCR, QEEG-D, BCN

Dr. Robert “Rusty” P. Turner is owner and CEO of Network Neurology LLC, an integrative neuroscience center in Charleston, SC. Network Neurology is a busy clinical neurology and neuromodulation practice performing QEEG-guided non-invasive neurofeedback. As a neuroscientist with 30 years experience, Dr. Turner is a clinician trained in clinical neurophysiology, child neurology and neurodevelopmental medicine, adult neurology, epilepsy, and electrodiagnostic medicine, as well as pediatrics, clinical research, biostatistics, and epidemiology.


Lori Volkman, JD, Attorney at Law and CEO, Trajectory Communications

Lori Volkman spent fifteen years as a lawyer and prosecuting attorney in Washington State before becoming a Communication Strategist in 2010. After working with the mentally ill for two decades, she now represents the mentally ill in involuntary court proceedings and continues to research and create strategic communication campaigns. She received her undergraduate degree in Political Science with honors from the University of California at San Diego, and a Juris Doctorate from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. Ms. Volkman is an award-winning author, and her work has appeared in The New York Times, Women's Day Magazine, Reader's Digest, and multiple books and nationally syndicated magazines. She has also appeared on CNN, Fox News, The NBC Nightly News, CBS Evening News, Fox News with Neil Cavuto, and multiple Associated Press reports.
